Monday was a bad day for the Ball Smashers. It started out with America's Nominee defying the polls once again and being Alex. The drawing of the POV players went their way as Morgan was picked to play with them. Then came the POV comp which involved putting two balls in a long clear tube and transporting them to the end where the balls would be slid into another tube. That was going fairly well as Shelby was among the first to get ten balls in, then twenty balls, but after getting the twenty balls she jumped down and ran back to the start thinking the balls were locked in and they weren't. The rules said she had to walk back on the beam to lock in the balls, so she lost half of her work and Jason then cruised to the win.
Shortly after their defeat Morgan was nearby when Whitney told Justin they would have to celebrate the win. Morgan then asked what Whitney was celebrating and Whitney stammered something about Justin's no longer being a Have Not. Any doubt the Ball Smashers had about Whitney's loyalty was then gone. The Ball Smashers knew they were losing one of their own and were more than a bit down.
Danielle and Jason then decided to add an extra layer of cruelty to the day by coming up with a plan to form a new fake alliance with the Ball Smashers. They went upstairs and told the girls they needed to get Justin out this week and wanted a final five with Danielle, Jason, Alex, Morgan and Shelby. The girls had no other option but to go along with this even though they suspect it's too good to be true. It is. The LNJ are just playing with them and tweaking them for no real reason.
Today the POV will be played and Jason will stand up and save Danielle (or possibly Whitney) and put up Morgan in her place. They'll then claim that one of the girls must have told Justin of the plan to join with the Ball Smashers as he'd heard about it, so the deal is off. Either Alex or Morgan will then go home on Wednesday. The girls will know that none of them told Justin so this just puts a bigger target on the back of the LNJ should Morgan win the HOH on Wednesday.
I'm still holding out hope that Morgan/Alex or Shelby might make it a bit farther in the game and could possibly win, but the odds are slimmer now than ever. There's a growing online movement to vote for Kryssie as the winner despite her doing nothing just as a vote of displeasure on how this season played out. I suspect that movement will gain steam in the final weeks.
