Yesterday saw the house in recovery mode from the HOH comp. Everyone had sore fingers from the chicken wire and sore necks and shoulders. Lots of domino playing took place in the HOH room while James and Natalie lounged downstairs. Later in the day it was time for the nominations and to no one's surprise the nominees were James and Natalie. Nicole was upset that Victor told Natalie that she was the pawn and not the target.
As it turns out Natalie is not the target to Paul and Victor, but she is the prime target for Nicole. (No big surprise as Nicole wants every girl out of the house but her, and Natalie is definitely a girl.) Nicole has now started to mount her campaign to evict Natalie. She's limiting her campaign to Corey at this time as Corey is the only vote she needs to evict Natalie. There are three votes to evict this week and Nicole and Corey are two of them. She's telling Corey that James is easier to beat in comps and they should keep James. She says Natalie is too comfortable on the block. She wants Natalie gone. Natalie is dangerous, etc.
Depending on the outcome of the POV comp that will take place later today, it looks like Natalie will have to win the POV to stay alive. I think Nicole thinks she can save James this week, then team up with James and Corey to knock out Victor and Paul. Then use James to take out Corey and force the jury to choose between the two vets. Nicole's big problem might be James in that scenario. He's not trusting Nicole at all right now and I suspect he'd be more likely to hook up with Victor and Paul instead of Nicole and Corey. Natalie and James are still a bit ticked off that Nicole told them last week that "no matter what anyone says, I'm with you guys," only to then back stab them.
Today should be a nice quiet day until the POV comp. There are no Have Nots this week. There is no need to pick POV players with just six players left in the game. After the POV comp is where things get interesting. If James or Natalie wins POV then we could see the game flip. Nicole could argue that Paul should be the replacement knowing that Corey and her would then control the votes. If Paul went up Nicole could then vote with Natalie to save James (or James to save Natalie) and evict Paul. If Corey went up as the replacement Nicole could view James/Natalie as being more valuable than Corey and vote out Corey. (That's much more of a long shot though.)
We could even possibly see Nicole win POV and decide to use it on James to ensure Natalie went. Nicole would like the idea of her, Corey and James going against Paul and Victor. If Victor is dumb enough to put up Paul, then Victor could see Paul evicted and it be Victor, who can't play for HOH against the other four. (Nicole doesn't know that James and Natalie would be more likely to hook up with Victor over them.)
The game is far from over just yet. At this moment the Final Four look pretty solid, but the outcome of the POV comp could change all of that. Right now Natalie looks pretty much doomed, but things change minute by minute in the BB house and unless Paul or Victor wins POV, there's an opportunity for things to flip once more. A Natalie POV win could upset things the most. Lots of scheming will be going on over the next few days. Paul and Victor seem very confident that this will all play out as they plan, but there's an old saying that "The surest way to make God laugh is to tell him your plans." Paul and Victor may just find God laughing at them before this week is over.
