Yesterday saw the POV ceremony take place and Paulie apparently relied on his aunt with cancer as part of his argument to have Victor use the POV. Victor refused to use the POV however and Paulie and Corey remain on the block.
Paul, James, Natalie and Michelle were concerned about how comfortable Nicole and Corey were so they decided to give Paulie some hope in the hopes that it would worry Nicole and Corey and make them a bit more paranoid. That strategy seems to be working okay for them. Nicole and Corey are starting to get a bit more paranoid now. Nicole's assigned Corey to shadow Paulie to keep him from making deals.
The house guests got some sort of a country fair event/comp last night that may or may not have included a Ziggy Marley concert. Ziggy Marley has a scheduled concert in LA tonight, so it's possible someone won tickets to that concert. The house was on an inside lock down most of the day yesterday then had a lock down in the HOH room before the POV ceremony which is eerily similar to what happened earlier in the year for the Battle Back comps. They'll also be on an inside lock down starting this morning. If there's another HOH lock down, it'll likely mean there's another Battle Back comp going on. The one yesterday would have been Davonne versus Zakiyah. If there's another HOH lock down today it'll be Bridgette versus whoever won yesterday. Another Battle Back would explain the Friday show.
Natalie, excited about the Ziggy Marley event pulled a neck muscle while showering and is in constant pain now. Don't expect to see much of her for the next few days. Her plan is to stay in bed and sleep it off as much as possible.
Paul, Nicole and Corey got summer versions of their outfits for the heat. Paul is continuing to excel in his role as the resident Secret Service agent. Paulie is still reluctantly making pies when ordered. He's not happy about it, but he's doing it. Paulie seems to be accepting his fate more and more these days. Corey looks pretty miserable most of the time in his outfit.
The house will get the HOH camera today and Victor will do his HOH blog. Paulie will continue to try and sell the house on keeping him and the big alliance will egg him on making Nicole and Corey more and more paranoid. We'll have to see if there's another HOH lock down later today. If there is, then it's nearly a certainty that a juror will be returning. I'd prefer to see Bridgette come back, but Davonne would be interesting also. Paulie would be the most likely to return. He's the most physically dominant of the four. I'm expecting the feeds to go down late in the day Thursday and be down until after the West coast airing of Friday's show again. We'll have to see if I'm right on that.
If they are having a jury Battle Back, and indications are that's the case, then that strongly implies that BB knows the Round Trip ticket won't be played. They can easily accommodate one more house guest, but not two. Paulie coming back in would be interesting, but the co-HOH would likely make his return short-lived. That co-HOH Care Package this week is huge.
