Big Brother 18 Live Feed Spoilers and Updates for Sunday 8/28/2016!!!

Yesterday saw the day start out with the reveal of the Have Nots and the Have Nots food. BB decided the Have Nots were the first two of the house guests to fall from the wall which made Corey and Victor the Have Nots for the week. Emerging from the HOH room to see the Have Nots food brought immediate frowns and nose holding as the stench from the food filled the air. This week's Have Not food is squid and seaweed. (Apparently not especially fresh squid and seaweed if the smell is any indicator.)

Paul and James celebrated wildly when they learned they weren't Have Nots while Victor and Corey moaned in disgust. The table was rapidly cleared of the foul smelling mess and we're unlikely to see either the squid or seaweed used for anything but pranks this week as neither Have Not seems enthused about the food choices. (Hint: squid and seaweed are great foods for the marine fish in the HOH aquarium.)

With the Have Nots chosen and the food revealed attention then turned to the picking of the POV players. Everyone hoped that Natalie would be picked so she wouldn't be the host, as her hosting skills are not the best, but as fate would have it, Natalie was once again the host. She promised to do better this time and apparently did as we heard no complaints about her hosting abilities this time.

The POV comp was a Christmas themed counting/hold and fold comp. This is the comp where they're shown a large pile of stuff and have to figure out how many whatevers there are in the pile. They then have to write down their answer, listen to how the others have answered and then decide if they want to stay or fold. The house guests were all dressed as Santa's elves except for the host Natalie who was dressed as Mrs. Santa Claus in a red fur trimmed dress. Nicole was apparently on the verge of being eliminated when Corey threw the comp to her by guessing one billion as an answer. Nicole emerged triumphant. James claims to once again have thrown yet another comp knowing his trio were safe this week.

Paul and Victor immediately started to scheme on how to get Nicole to use the POV and get James/Natalie up and out, but Victor suggested they cool it and let Nicole do what she wanted. Paul briefly agreed then went upstairs and suggested Nicole use the POV to put up Natalie saying that would rattle James and Natalie all week and make them easy pickings for the next HOH. Nicole said no, she was keeping the noms the same and assured Paul he was safe. She then went downstairs and assured James that Paul was going and said that he was driving her nuts being in her face all of the time.

This week now comes down to "What will Nicole do?" The vote on Thursday (at least at this time) will likely be 2-2 with Victor and Corey voting to evict Michelle and Natalie and James voting to evict Paul. Nicole knows that keeping the two strongest players in the house is stupid and that her parents will be screaming at the TV to get rid of one of them,  but she tells Corey she thinks they can keep those two and use them. (Well, someone's getting used in this relationship, but I'm pretty sure it's not Paul and Victor.) Paul was gloating that with Michelle gone no one can beat him in mental comps and no one can beat Victor in physical comps.

Nicole is convinced (at least occasionally) that this coming week is a double eviction and the comps in a double eviction tend to be mental. She doesn't seem overly confident about Corey winning a mental comp (for good reason) so there's some logic in keeping Paul to win the mental comp for her side. She seems to trust that Paul/Victor will be one hundred percent loyal to her just as they were one hundred percent loyal to Paulie before back-stabbing him, and one hundred percent loyal to James/Natalie/Michelle before planning to back-stab them only to be back-stabbed by James/Natalie/Michelle first.

Nicole is not a hundred percent solid in any decision she ever makes and I expect lots of waffling between now and Thursday. I wouldn't be shocked to see Paul get evicted by a 3-1 vote. I don't see Nicole wanting to get on James bad side by voting out Michelle and keeping Paul, even though that's what she's saying she'll do now. The wisdom of keeping a very strong player in the game this late is not sound. Paul tends to grate on the nerves of HOH's pretty quickly as he tries to tell them how to do everything and I strongly suspect he'll talk his way out of the game by Thursday.

Michelle's won one whole comp and has been noncompetitive in most recent comps, so keeping her poses little real threat to Nicole. Michelle's not a romantic rival, they were allies earlier in the game in the Fatal Five, Michelle is unlikely to win most comps. Michelle might be one of the few house guests Nicole could take to the final two and beat easily. Michelle has few allies in the jury other than Zakiyah, and Zakiyah is only one vote.

Today and tomorrow should be nice, stress-free days for the house. The yard is open again. There are no comps or events planned other than the POV ceremony and that'll be pretty straightforward and the POV won't be used. Of course, Paul could up the stress level a lot by pushing Nicole and Corey to use the POV. If he annoys them enough they might just use it to make a deal with Michelle for safety (using Corey's $5000 bribe) and use the POV and put up Victor alongside of Paul and let James, Michelle and Natalie vote out Paul. Any deal they make would be binding and if Michelle won HOH next week she couldn't nominate Corey or Nicole. That would help settle their fears of Michelle and she'd still have whoever survived of Paul/Victor to put up as her nominees with James/Natalie as a pawn. Even if Victor were to win the HOH next week, he'd have a house full of targets and there's no guarantee which way he'd go. Michelle would be thrilled to get the $5000 for doing something she'd do anyway if she won with her only real change being the pawn.

We'll have to see how things play out, but this week is in the hands of Nicole and she knows there's a smart, game wise move to make in taking out a strong competitor, and there's a less smart move to make, that will make her happy even though it leaves a very strong duo in the game. We'll have to see what she does.

We have a show tonight! On tonight's show we'll see the conclusion of the wall comp. With any luck we'll hear what Zakiyah and Davonne said to one another before jumping down. (Supposedly they didn't want their hair getting wet.) We'll see James make the deal with Nicole and hop off. We'll see the deal making between Paul/Victor and Corey/Nicole and then the nominations.
