Natalie believes that Nicole is playing every side of the house, Paulie is calling the shots and James is floating though he's loyal to both her and the guys. Natalie knows there's an all guy alliance, but Paulie isn't worried about that as he knows someone must have told her that as Natalie isn't smart enough to have figured it out on her own. (Wrong!) Natalie also thinks it's unfair that three of the house guests were coached by Derrick before coming into the house. Natalie said, "Everyone's Paulie's puppet." (Natalie is a very smart and observant player.)
Corey thinks he's in charge of the house and Paulie is doing his bidding. Corey thinks he's calling all of the shots and that he got Davonne put up and out. (I think Corey may have taken one or two too many shots to the head in his lifetime.) It's a sad indictment of our educational system that people like Corey manage to get through the system with a degree,
Nicole is having a hard time keeping herself from breaking down in hysterical laughter as Corey tries to convince her he's the mastermind of the house. She's playing pretty much everyone in the house and desperately trying to survive however she can. She's worried that Paul is trying to gather supporters and she's not being gathered by him. How dare there be an alliance in the house that doesn't include her? Oh sure, she has no real loyalty to anyone and most of her alliances have imploded as she's opted for other alliances, but to be excluded from a new alliance is an insult to her. She's now plotting to destroy this new alliance that has the gall to exclude her.
Paul, disrobed after losing the HOH, has replaced his HOH robe with an inflatable plastic pelican pool floatie that he never takes off. (Note to BB: perhaps giving a him a straitjacket may be more appropriate?) Paul is convinced that Zakiyah is going and he's working to form a new power team of Victor, Bridgette and Michelle to take control of the house. Oddly enough he doesn't seem to want to take out Paulie, just take power from him and keep him in the house.
Zakiyah continues to be glued to Paulie which seems to be working for her as now Paulie insists Zakiyah has to stay and they have to get rid of the emotional Michelle. Zakiyah's game to this point involves clinging to Paulie and looking pathetic while exhibiting massive jealousy if anyone else looks at Paulie..
Speaking of Paulie, he's largely maneuvering behind the backs of Paul and Victor to get rid of Michelle as he doesn't want to debate this endlessly and thinks Paul and Victor are working to dethrone him. Paulie wants to get rid of Michelle then either Bridgette or Victor to weaken Paul's new alliance in the double eviction. Paulie thinks Natalie is an idiot and knows nothing about the game and that James is in total control of her and she's a puppet to James. (Wrong!)
James knows that Natalie isn't his puppet and she knows everything that's going on in the game, even more than James knows. James finds himself in the odd position of having the ability to cancel two votes and everyone wants him to cancel their votes. This was a prize that he really didn't want to win. At this stage of the game everyone wants him to cancel their vote so they don't get blamed for voting out the house guest who leaves this week. There are seven house guests voting this week and six of them want James to cancel their votes which means that four people will be upset with him no matter what he does..
Victor, "I want to make a big game move" is going to end up with his HOH being largely a wasted one, likely getting out a potential ally in Michelle. All hope that he was a smart, strategic player is now gone. Victor is largely Paul's pawn at this time and doing Paul's bidding. His effort to get redemption for evil little Natalie saying he disrespects women took a bit of a hit with his disrespectful treatment of the two nominees.
Bridgette is playing a game of survival. She's trying desperately to fit in wherever she can for some hint of safety. Paul who wanted her out more than anything last week now seems more inclined to include her in his new alliance which has her being targeted now by Paulie who saved her last week. (This is an oddly head spinning house on occasion.) If Bridgette can survive and win an HOH she could be a player to watch.
Michelle managed to get through a whole day without breaking out in tears and having a meltdown. As Superfans go, she's a bit of an embarrassment. She's said she'll blow up the house after the POV ceremony today. I'm not sure what ammunition she has left. Will she say Paulie's in charge of the house and they're all his puppets? Well, everyone but Corey already knows that, and it won't bother Corey as it'll show how well he's hiding the fact that he's in charge. (At least in his mind.)
So today, the house will have the POV ceremony. Paulie will pocket the POV and keep the nominations the same. This will lead Michelle to another bout of tears followed by whatever revelations she wants to break to the house. Much debating will take place over who should go. Natalie, Paul, Victor all seem to want Zakiyah gone. Paulie, James, Nicole, Corey all want Michelle gone. Bridgette doesn't seem to care who goes as long as it's not her, but she's closer to Victor and Natalie than anyone, so she might vote their way. Unless the house comes to a consensus, Paulie will need to have James use his cancel two votes power to ensure Michelle goes.
Expect there to be lots of debating over who goes all week. Victor and Paul are adamant that Zakiyah has to go. Paulie is equally adamant that Zakiyah must stay. Expect lots of back and forth this week and expect James to be the rope in a game of tug of war as everyone wants him to use his vote canceling power on them.
