Yesterday saw the reveal of the Have Nots food (hash browns and corned beef hash.) Then they picked the POV players. Zakiyah pulled the house guest's choice and picked Paulie. James and Nicole were also picked. The POV comp then started.
Much of the afternoon and early evening were consumed by the POV comp which was the hide and seek comp. Each house guest was given a POV ticket to hide and the one that stayed hidden the longest won the POV. Paulie hid his somehow in the table under stuff and BB made him prove it could be found and removed. Victor hid his under the lining in Bridgette's bag, Zakiyah hid hers in the Nairobi room by a table. Nicole hid hers in the popcorn machine in the Have Not room. James hid his under the bedding and moved a mattress to make it obvious where it was. (James didn't want to win.) I don't know where Michelle hid hers.
The house guests were then turned loose on the house to find the hidden POV tickets. James, being James decided to make a bigger mess than necessary. He threw eggs on the floor, dumped flour, and generally ransacked the house creating chaos more than hunting for the veto. This annoyed Victor a lot. He's something of a clean freak and did not like the mess. Realizing that everyone's bags were dumped out except James' he then threw James stuff around to even things up.
Natalie was seriously upset that her clean underwear that she kept in a Ziploc bag had been taken out and thrown on the floor. She was not happy about that and complained about it nonstop. James said he'd never do that (we don't know if he did or not.)
The one veto ticket that wasn't found was the one Paulie hid, so Paulie won the POV. This made Zakiyah very, very happy. That happiness was short-lived however when Paulie told her he wouldn't use it or else he'd upset the guys, but that Zakiyah was safe. Zakiyah was not especially happy with this decision, but seems to have accepted it. (For now anyway.)
James and his antics have now moved him way up on the target list for Victor. Victor wants him gone in the double eviction. I don't think that will happen but we'll have to see. Paulie is still solidly behind keeping Zakiyah and wants Michelle gone while Paul wants Zakiyah gone and Michelle kept. Paulie is working behind Paul's back to keep Zakiyah. He's telling James he wants James to use his vote blocking on both Paul and Paulie so their votes get cancelled out but then have the house vote to keep Zakiyah. This will help shield him from the blame of getting out Michelle (and maybe gets her jury vote) and keep Zakiyah happy and safe.
Paulie is now saying he wants to keep Zakiyah around until after Bridgette is gone. He's worried that Paul, Victor and Bridgette are a group and either have, or are trying to pull in Michelle. (Yeah, because Michelle just loves Victor after what he said to her.) He thinks they may be coming to challenge his group of James, Corey, Nicole, and Natalie.
Michelle is now waiting to see what happens with the POV ceremony then she's planning to blow up the game. She told Natalie earlier that James was coached by Derrick and that Derrick's father is James' agent. That and Natalie's underwear being scattered through the house had Natalie a tick annoyed. Michelle has potential to cause Paulie a bit of trouble, but I suspect the idiots are so far up Paulie's backside that they'll believe any lie he spins over any truth Michelle tells them. (The truth is Paulie's playing a very obvious game to anyone with a pair of eyes, but the house is largely blind. Michelle isn't blind however.) The bad news for Michelle is her attempts to expose Paulie's game will likely lead to her eviction.
So, as things stand at this moment we have some tension between Paul and Paulie over who should go. Paul wants Zakiyah gone while Paulie wants Michelle gone. Paulie's recruited enough votes to feel comfortable that Zakiyah is staying. He wants James to neutralize Paul's vote to ensure Zakiyah is staying. No one in the house is openly targeting Paulie at any time in the near future, but if he pulls off this Zakiyah saving stunt Paul and Victor could be eyeing him in the near future.
The Paul and Paulie debate this week will be interesting to watch. We could see them divide and one of them blindsided in the near future. Paul won't be happy when Zakiyah stays. Paulie is targeting Bridgette and Victor in the near future too, so Paul pretty much has to make a move soon if he's going to make a move. Victor can't play for HOH this week since he's the outgoing HOH and I suspect he's not going to be happy having Michelle going out on his HOH. Paulie is talking to Zakiyah right now and says he wants her to take out Victor this week. He'll hang in the comp until Paul is gone then he'll drop out and let Zakiyah win. Nicole and Corey won't want to win, James won't want to win. All she'll have to do is beat Bridgette and she can then take out Victor.
Can Michelle wake up the house and get Paulie in trouble? Can Paul win HOH and build an army to go against Paulie? Will Paulie emerge unscathed this week? This could be a turning point in the game. Paulie gambled that he could let Zakiyah be a target, save her, keep his game intact, and come out as strong or stronger. Right now, things are going Paulie's way, but it just takes a little opening of the eyes to make people realize they're helping Paulie win rather than helping themselves win. Paulie looks like he wants to take Zakiyah or Natalie to the final two with him to guarantee the win. Pretty soon he'll start doing the same thing Derrick did about setting up the guys to believe that no one will vote for a guy to win if he takes a girl like Zakiyah or Natalie to the end with them all the while planning to do just that. The power James has to cancel two votes, combined with Michelle waking people up, could lead to Zakiyah going home on Thursday, and an army forming to oppose Paulie. However, that likely won't happen. The house will all fall in meekly behind Paulie and continue to walk him to the half million dollars.
