And Sunday was a fun day for the BB 18 house guests. The house spent most of the early part of the day lying around waiting for the Outback dinner two teams had earned earlier in the week. The two teams were Frank's (Frank, Bridgette, Michelle, and Paulie) and Davonne's (Davonne, Zakiyah, Paul.) The backyard was decorated with a variety of things apparently including a mechanical bull that they were told not to try and ride, but Paul tried to ride it anyway. The dinner eaters came back into the house a bit drunk (in some cases (Michelle) more than a bit.)
Frank and Bridgette then retreated to the HOH where they cuddled on the HOH bed and discussed strategy. Frank has three primary targets at this time. He wants Davonne, Corey and Paulie gone in the next five weeks time. He wants to have the competitive males eliminated so he can easily win the physical comps and keep himself and Bridgette safe. He told Bridgette that he'd won the Road Kill comps in the first and third weeks and that he'd put her up in week one and Bronte this week. Bridgette was fine with all of that. Bridgette, at least while in Frank's company, was fine with losing her spy girl allies. I'm not sure if she was playing Frank or telling him the truth though.
Meanwhile, downstairs the girls and guys were having a dance off and rap off. In between practicing and performing, there was some game talk. Paulie and James vowed to be loyal to the end and think the girls will go after each other and they won't have to do anything to get rid of them. Corey raised the possibility of taking out Bronte over Tiffany since Tiffany's on their side and it makes no sense to get rid of an ally when there are enemies on the block. Davonne's talked a bit of saving Tiffany, but we'll see what happens.
Today will be an interesting day in the house. Expect nothing dramatic to happen until after the POV ceremony today. The POV probably won't be used and the nominees will stay the same. Then the chatter will pick up on who should go home this week. Bronte's name is coming up quite a bit and both James and Davonne think she'd be real good on physical comps as she's got good endurance. I still suspect we'll see Paul's name come up a bit more too. Frank still wants Tiffany gone and is assuming she's gone by a unanimous vote.
The Spy Girls are now meeting upstairs and Natalie thinks she's figured out the top secret twist. Natalie thinks there are two of everything. Two parents (Davonne and James,) two nurses (Nicole and Bridgette,) two cheerleaders (Natalie and Zakiyah,) Natalie is convinced that Zakiyah is an NBA dancer based on the way she moves and her knowing about a professional cheerleader gathering. They think there are two siblings (Paulie and Tiffany,) two female returnees (Nicole and Davonne,) two male returnees (James and Frank) and more. They're now convinced there are doubles of everything in the house. It's actually kind of a clever observation and makes sense, but it's not really true.
The Spy Girls are interesting to watch. Bridgette now has Frank's information he dumped on her last night, but she's not sharing it with the other two. Natalie knows from James that Frank was the Road Kill winner but isn't telling the others. Bronte knows Frank was the Road Kill winner from Paulie, but she's not telling anyone. So, the three girls are all being very selective in what they tell one another.
In a quick medical update, Bridgette's still on the crutches and really favoring her bad ankle. She fell asleep earlier without it elevated and woke up to it throbbing badly and being in a lot more pain. Lucky for her she can't compete in the HOH this week anyway. Paul's infected nose ring is getting worse and he's been advised to see the medic about it since it's now bleeding.
Later today we'll have the POV ceremony and in all likelihood the POV won't be played and the nominations will stay the same. Then we'll likely have lots of discussions take place all over the house. Quite a few of the boys want Bronte gone. Davonne, Nicole, Corey have all talked a bit about saving Tiffany. Paul's name has come up a time or two and will likely come up quite a bit more. Paul's been wandering around in his underwear a bit which has the house a bit unhappy. I wouldn't be shocked to see the vote split this week among all three nominees. We have nine people voting this week and we could see a four to three to two vote depending on how things play out. It would be smart to split the votes as then everyone could claim they voted to evict whoever they were talking with voted to evict. A unanimous vote to evict Tiffany would give Frank what he wants, but might not be best for the house. A split vote, especially one that's calculated could drive Frank crazy trying to figure out who's on his side.
For the first week this season we don't know who's going home, and probably won't until Thursday. Jozea and Victor were easy evictions. This one looks to be a bit more complicated with no guarantee on who goes home. I'm still thinking Tiffany will survive the week somehow. The person who should be the most vulnerable is Paul. He was third in command on Jozea's side, has no real allies, and is easily expendable. The guys really don't want to lose another guy which helps Paul, but with Tiffany allied with the eight Pack and Bronte with the Spy Girls, voting out Paul would ruffle the fewest feathers. Frank would be furious, but the rest of the house would probably be okay with that move. We'll have to see what happens.
