Yesterday saw Bridgette pocket the POV without using it keeping the nominees Paul, Bronte and Tiffany. Tiffany still appears to be at the most risk, but she's got a pair of allies in Michelle and Davonne. Michelle finally learned from Tiffany of the five person alliance of Paulie, Zakiyah, Corey, Nicole, and Davonne. Michelle reacted by saying, "Boys ruin everything."
Natalie and Bronte (two thirds of the Spy Girls) met up and agreed not to tell Bridgette everything since Frank has her brainwashed. They were upset that Frank had promised to protect Bronte then used the Road Kill to put her up. They want James to win HOH and if he's out then one of them will try to win it.
Zakiyah had her birthday party and the house was more or less pretty calm. Paul finally learned about Frank's issues and was surprised. (Paul is always the last to know anything in the house.) Paulie really seems to be trying to pull Paul into an alliance with him.
All in all, it was a pretty quiet day. Davonne has promised to start sowing seeds through the house to try and save Tiffany. Michelle is likely to work to help save Tiffany as Tiffany is one of the few people who tells her things. I wouldn't be shocked to see Michelle, Tiffany and Davonne unite if things work out right this week.
It shouldn't be hard to keep Tiffany if the house decides to. She's a very limited threat to any of the Eight Pack plus Paulie, but a solid vote for their side. Reminding the house of Paul being the odd guy out and the threat of him hooking up with Frank could help shift the target. Bronte has also openly targeted members of the Eight Pack. It won't be terribly difficult for Davonne and Michelle to shift the target if they're truly motivated.
The "Girl Power" factor this year is now in shambles as Corey has derailed Nicole, Paulie has derailed Zakiyah, James has derailed Natalie, and Frank has derailed Bridgette. With four of the eight girls now partnered with a guy they're looking to protect, only Paul is still really expendable to the girls. The girls without a guy (Davonne, Tifffany, Michelle and Bronte) are the most prominently mentioned names for future evictions. The guys, as they do every year, plan to take each other instead of the girls, but the girls, despite a strong numerical advantage, plan to let the guys pick off the remaining girls and lose that edge. We'll soon be seeing the guys taking the lead in the house and the girls disappearing one by one and wondering what happened. There's still time for the girls to wake up and pull the season out, but I'm pretty sure that won't happen now. The four couples will stick together and vote out the rest, then the guys will vote off the girls and we'll be right back where we typically are in Big Brother.
Today the house guests will get the HOH camera and Bridgette will do her HOH blog. Davonne will do her seed planting and we could see Tiffany saved. By the end of the day we should have a pretty good idea if Tiffany is still alive. Tomorrow the house guests will likely be on an inside lock down and it's harder to have private meetings with everyone locked in the house. If Tiffany is to be saved, today is the day to get it done. If there's still just Davonne and Michelle on Tiffany's side (and I'm not sure how solid Michelle is) at the end of the day, then things will look bad for Tiffany.
