Yesterday saw the day beginning with the naming of the Have Nots and the revealing of the Have Not food. The Have Nots are James and Natalie for being the first team eliminated in the HOH comp. Their Have Not food is baguettes, baked beans and basil. (BB has been very kind with the Have Not food options this year.)
Then came the picking of the POV players. Paul and Davonne were picked to compete with Tiffany, Paulie, Natalie and Corey. Corey won the POV comp. Corey is a bit confused as to what to do. His supposed enemies, Frank, Tiffany, Bridgette have all told him to use it on himself. His supposed allies (Paulie, Paul, Nicole, etc.) have been telling him he's safe and he doesn't have to use it. I suspect Corey will listen to his enemies this week and use the POV.
Since Corey was put up by the Road Kill winner (Tiffany) she'll then have to name a replacement. Which brings us to the fun stuff. Yesterday Tiffany and Frank had a nice little chat where Tiffany learned that Davonne had told Frank that Tiffany was gunning for him which is why he was going after her. Tiffany then told Frank that the only reason she was going after Frank was because Davonne had told Tiffany that Frank was gunning for her. Light bulbs went off over both of their heads and they realized they'd both been played by Davonne and she was continuing to play the rest of the house. Tiffany then told Frank of all the alliances in the house including the Fatal Five (Tiffany, Nicole, Michelle, Zakiyah and Davonne.)
Frank took this information to Paulie in the HOH room where Zakiyah was sitting with Paulie. Frank then relayed the information to Paulie who seemed initially troubled that all of this could possibly be going on without his knowledge and consent. After all, he is Paulie, the king of the house and the all knowing God of Big Brother who was coached by the all powerful, all knowing Derrick before entering the game. After some initial doubt Paulie's self confidence returned and he dismissed Frank. Zakiyah, somehow kept perfectly calm all through this, picking away at a piece of cotton candy as her role in the Fatal Five was exposed and her game was potentially imploding around her.
Meanwhile Frank's minion Paul, the rare forked tongue bearded shouting weasel, had been downstairs snooping for information. Tiffany told him exactly what had been going on in the house and Frank then confirmed the information and Paul hurried to his master's side and informed him that it was all lies and that Frank and Tiffany would say anything to stay. Paul and Paulie then formed an elaborate plan to stage a confrontation with Tiffany and Frank on Monday. (There was Abbott and Costello, Laurel and Hardy, and now the new comedy team of Paul and Paulie. Two clowns who even when the truth is laid out before them in plain sight can't see it, or believe it.)
Davonne, whose entire game should have imploded with this news, then joined the HOH crowd and Paulie assured her first off that he believed none of the stuff Frank was saying and Davonne sat there as Paulie told her how ridiculous Frank's accusations against Davonne were. (In fact everything Frank had said was true and Davonne knows it but she went along with Paulie and laughed at the ridiculousness of the whole thing.)
Assuming, and this is a dangerous assumption, Paulie has even a few brain cells still working, he should start to put the pieces together today and realize that maybe, just maybe what Frank said makes sense. Of course he'd have to overcome his belief that Vanessa (Tiffany's sister) is the spawn of Satan and that Tiffany is her clone. You just know that somewhere Derrick is screaming at Paulie saying, "She's not Vanessa, you idiot!"
In a bizarre twist, Corey, the more or less brain dead meat puppet Nicole's hiding behind, has realized that a lot of what Tiffany and Frank are saying makes sense. I'm pretty sure he's going to use the POV on himself despite Paulie's assurances that he's perfectly safe if he stays on the block. Corey's had some of Tiffany's story confirmed by Nicole which now has him wondering who he can trust. He knows his only real safety this week lies in using the POV on himself.
Today should see more scrambling as Frank and Tiffany tell the house what they know. Paulie may have a brain cell or two kick in, unlikely, but anything's possible, and realize that maybe, just maybe Tiffany isn't as dangerous as he thinks she is and that Davonne is a lot more dangerous than he thinks. Tomorrow is where things get interesting. Tomorrow should find Corey using the POV to save himself. Tiffany will put up Davonne to replace Corey. And the campaign to get Davonne voted out will kick into high gear.
It'll take five votes to get rid of Davonne this week. Where would those votes come from? Frank and Bridgette would be two. Corey and Nicole both could turn on Davonne without much trouble. Davonne's been pushing to break up the couples since they formed and word of that could get Nicole's attention. James could be a vote if he is approached by Nicole and she confirms much of what Tiffany is saying. Davonne wants to break up James and Natalie too, so getting rid of Davonne isn't a bad option for him.
Davonne's played a very sloppy game this year. She turned on her allies four days into the game and turned them against one another, creating deep divisions in what should have been a dominant alliance. Now two of those those she turned against one another have compared notes and have found a common enemy in Davonne. Can Frank and Tiffany break through Paulie's belief that Tiffany is the most dangerous person in the history of Big Brother to get him on board for evicting Davonne? Probably not, but we'll have to see. If more house guests compare notes on Davonne, things could get very, very messy for Davonne. These next few days could be pretty entertaining. Either Tiffany or Davonne is likely leaving this Thursday. Natalie, who's still on the block has been largely forgotten and seems as safe as can be.
Expect to see lots of conversations today where Davonne's name comes up and notes get compared. Paulie may finally see the light, I doubt it, but who knows, and we could see Davonne in big trouble. Davonne's going to have to do some serious fence mending to last much more than the next week or two. She's got to do a lot of explaining to a lot of people and hope they're all naive idiots. Sad to say even this cast may not be dumb enough to buy all of her explanations. Tiffany exposing the Fatal Five may cast some doubt in the minds of Corey and Paulie of the loyalty of their showmance partners. Paulie said his ride and die guys are Corey and James. If the girls hear of that, they may just decide they need to get rid of the guys after all.
One of several things is likely to happen this week. Davonne's game will completely implode and she'll be voted out unanimously on Thursday. Davonne's game will implode but Paulie will be able to convince enough voters that Tiffany is still more dangerous and Tiffany will leave by a split vote. Then there's the Tiffany will eke out surviving another week when five house guests believe what Tiffany and Frank are saying and they view Davonne as the bigger threat and she gets voted out. There's even some potential for the house to believe Davonne over Frank, Tiffany and everyone else and keep her in their trust. The game's getting more and more interesting each week.
