Yesterday was a very busy day in the old BB 18 house. It started out with Paulie making his nominations and Paulie nominated Tiffany and Natalie. Tiffany expected this and was prepared. Natalie was not so happy about it, but was assured she was safe and Tiffany was the target.
Tiffany has been trying to rally support and more or less has Frank and Bridgette on her side. She's working on James and Davonne, and may be able to pull in another ally or two. Tiffany is telling everyone much of what she knows in the house. With Paulie in charge of the house, Tiffany is making sure those not in the five person alliance of Paulie, Zakiyah, Corey, Nicole and Michelle, know the details of that alliance and where they stand.
Late yesterday afternoon and evening saw the Road Kill comp being played. This apparently involved moving/hanging air fresheners in the BB RV. The smell of all those air fresheners in that small space was apparently quite strong and a bit nauseating. In a shocking twist Tiffany won the Road Kill comp. Paulie wasn't sure who won the Road Kill comp, but he quickly figured out that none of his group did and he became a bit frazzled.
Paulie went downstairs and launched into a tirade against Tiffany that got blacked out on the feeds, but we'll see on Sunday's show. It didn't have much of an impact on Tiffany who seems to have pulled herself together and decided to play the game. Tiffany then made her pick for the Road Kill nominee and put up Corey. (By the way, Corey apparently passed out yesterday due to low blood sugar and dehydration, but seems fine again.)
This was good news for James and Davonne who still want to work with Nicole but know her true loyalty lies with Corey over them. They think getting rid of Corey will bring Nicole back to them and they're probably right as she has few other alternatives.
Now Paulie, after doing some vote counting has figured out that he needs to keep at least one person outside his alliance voting his way to save Corey and vote out Tiffany if she stays on the block. Corey's alliance would have Nicole, Zakiyah and Michelle voting, but it takes four votes to assure a tie and let Paulie be the tie breaker. Paul seems to be his best choice for a sure thing vote, but he's also working on the rest of the house.
Frank is still confused and worried about who voted to save Tiffany. Tiffany has told him that everyone but Bridgette was against him and the vote was contrived to make it look closer than it was to confuse him. (That worked very well.) Frank thinks he has a chance to regain some control this week, and he just might.
Paulie sensing the loss of momentum and control has now decided that if he wins POV (to be played later today) that he'll pull Natalie down to get her and James' votes and then put up Davonne, who he suspects may vote out Corey. Corey had earlier promised Natalie he would use the POV on her if he won it so Frank (he thinks Frank won the Road Kill) wouldn't be able to name the replacement fearing Nicole would go up in his place. He's since changed his mind and said he'd use it on himself. That could have been a fairly major tactical error on Corey's part. If he uses the POV on himself then James and Natalie are likely to be a tad unhappy and James might just opt to vote out whoever Tiffany puts up as the replacement. (Possibly Zakiyah who denied there being a five person alliance to Tiffany even after Tiffany told her everyone in the house knew about it.)
At this moment the house is divided more or less along these lines. You've got Paulie, Zakiyah, Corey, Nicole and Michellle as a solid five person alliance with Paul more or less in tow as the sixth man. You've got Frank and Bridgette as a solid pair with Tiffany more or less on board with James/Natalie somewhat on their side and Davonne oddly having patched things up with Frank more or less also being temporarily on board. Paul could hop over to this side if the numbers look right too. Paul is playing a petty good floater game echoing Andy's game from a few years ago. It seems he's on whatever feed you're watching these days and then reporting whatever he sees/hears to whoever's not there.
Later today we'll have the Have Nots named (James and Natalie in all likelihood) and the Have Not food revealed. Then an hour or so later they'll pick the POV players. Frank desperately wants to get picked. Then they'll play the POV comp. The house guests are expecting either the dice comp or the roll a ball over the hill comp this week. Depending on who wins the POV comp we'll have lots of angst and discussion on what will happen next. If Paulie or one of his allies wins (other than Corey) they'll likely leave Corey up and save Natalie to try and get her vote, largely ignoring that her only true friends in the game are Bridgette and James who might want Corey out.
Today and the rest of this week could prove pretty interesting. Paulie thinks it's a sure thing to vote out Tiffany this week, but she might just survive even if she doesn't win the POV. Frank and Bridgette are two of the five votes Tiffany would need to survive. Davonne seems to be leaning towards keeping Tiffany. She's advised Tiffany to try and reconnect with Michelle as Davonne knows how crucial a role Michelle played in keeping Tiffany this past week. James won't vote out Natalie so his vote would have to go to either Tiffany or Corey if noms stay the same and voting out Corey would more or less force Nicole back to James and Davonne making Corey a tempting target for them. Despite Paulie's wishes, we could see this HOH backfire on him in a big, big way costing him his best bud Corey. Kudos to Tiffany for shaking off her funk and deciding to play the game.
If Corey leaves this week the guys in the house will be getting pretty limited in number and Paulie is making himself a big target with his play this week. The girls may not officially have an all girls alliance, but they may not need one if the guys keep getting picked off one by one. Corey could go this week. Paulie or Frank could easily go next week since both are viewed as being in charge of one side of the house and are big targets for the other side.Paul could end up being the last man standing and no one would have predicted that a few weeks ago.
This should be an interesting day. Tiffany would love to see Frank and Bridgette picked as the two extra players. James or Davonne could be good picks for her too. Even Michelle might be a good pick for her. The alliances in the house this year are more of a day to day alliance than a to the death alliance. As momentum in the house swings, so do allegiances.Right now, momentum is swinging Tiffany's way. A POV win by her or an ally today could flip the house in a pretty major way.
