Well, that didn't go exactly according to plan. When last we left the BB 18 house the plan was to save Tiffany, have anyone but Frank win HOH then get rid of Frank this week. The first part of the plan worked out pretty well. They saved Tiffany by the 5-4 vote with Paulie, James, Natalie and Frank voting to evict Tiffany while Michelle, Nicole, Corey, Davonne, and Zakiyah voted to evict Bronte. Then came the HOH comp. That's where things kind of fell apart.
On the very first question five people fell, including Paul and Tiffany who were two of those who were supposed to win. A few questions later and only Nicole, Frank and Paulie were left in the comp. Now, Paulie didn't really want to win as a win by him would guarantee safety for Frank and Bridgette, his teammates, who were supposed to be the targets this week. The only thing worse would be a Frank win, so Paulie hung in there to try and prevent a Frank win and in the process managed to end up winning HOH.
A certain amount of chaos broke out after the show with Davonne and Frank getting testy. Frank insisted Davonne had been trying to get rid of Tiffany since day four. (Which is true.) Davonne denied it and insisted it wasn't true. Lots of shouting back and forth ensued as Frank desperately tried to figure out who flipped the vote. Frank thinks he lost five votes and doesn't know he lost seven as two (Paulie and James) were also against him but voted as they did to confuse Frank.
Tiffany is very upset and has talked about quitting the show. She feels all alone and hates that everyone walks out of whatever room she walks into. She feels like a leper and no one wants to work with her. She knows they decided to keep her late in the week only to annoy and weaken Frank and not because they want to work with her. She's tried to get on Frank's side, but she's largely on her own. She's been doing a lot of crying and moping. Davonne has tried to build her back up and get her ready to compete in the Road Kill comp today. (Davonne is working hard to stay off the block and if she can keep Tiffany on her side should Tiffany win the Road Kill then she'll stay off the block.)
Frank was pushing hard for Paulie to put up Davonne. Davonne has now become Frank's number one target. (Though he's also talked about putting up Zakiyah.) Tiffany's less of a target for Frank, but she's still Paulie's number one target.The nominations will come down later today and Paulie is planning to put up Natalie and Tiffany. Then the Road Kill comp will be played. Frank is supremely confident he'll win that comp and if he does, he'll put up Davonne. If anyone else wins they'll put up Paul. (Oddly including Paul if he wins.) The house plan is to keep Tiffany from the POV and get rid of Tiffany this week, then go after Frank next week.
There's all kinds of chaos possible this week. A Tiffany Road Kill win could find Corey or Nicole on the block. A Frank/Natalie/Bridgette Road Kill win could find Davonne or Zakiyah on the block. Paul could end up on the block regardless of who else wins Road Kill. Paul says he'll nominate himself if he wins Road Kill. Then we have the POV comp tomorrow where more craziness could ensue. A Tiffany, Frank, Bridgette, Natalie or James POV win could shake up the house quite a bit. If one of them wins and uses the POV on Tiffany or Natalie things could get interesting. These next few days could be pretty darn entertaining. The only people safe this week are Frank, Bridgette, and Paulie. Pretty much anyone else could find themselves on the block and possibly leaving the game this week. It'll likely be Tiffany leaving, but you never know.
This is likely the last week of the team competitions as this week is the fifth eviction (Glenn, Jozea, Victor, Bronte, and this week's evictee) and the return of the winner of the Battle Back. That will restore the game to it's normal format where only one person is safe by winning HOH. Frank being safe for three weeks because of team wins has kept him in the game a lot longer than he'd have been in a normal season. With Paulie, Bridgette, and Paulie HOH wins Frank has been able to safely play the game with little fear of eviction. That should be ending this week. If Frank wants to stay alive, he's going to have to earn it himself.
