And this is why I love Big Brother. Yesterday things looked hopeless for Tiffany. No one in the house was actively campaigning for her, her allies had pretty much all given up on her and she was as good as gone. then last night BB plays a video clip featuring the three evicted house guests to be used for tonight's HOH comp. This simple act changed everything. The house guests think Tiffany would be good at a memory comp, so her value in the house just went way up.
Arguably the two least influential house guests in Corey and Michelle got together and started talking about keeping Tiffany. How she'd be good at that type of comp and it made no sense to get rid of her when she wasn't targeting any of them. They then agreed to try and save Tiffany and spread out among their allies to see if they could muster support.
Paulie meanwhile has heard from multiple sources that Frank is targeting him in the near future and has decided Frank must go. The idea of weakening Frank's side of the house by taking out Bronte now sounds like a good idea to Paulie, so Corey is able to get him on board pretty quickly. Knowing that Tiffany is good at a memory comp and would target Frank helps matters. Next up come Nicole and Zakiyah who agree to the plan and with them the five votes needed to save Tiffany are in place. The five decide to keep this a secret so the vote will be split 5-4 or 6-3 and Frank won't know who's voted to keep Tiffany.
Tiffany, who to this time has been assured by everyone that she's staying by a 9-0 vote is now informed that she would have been leaving by a 9-0 vote, but that the five have decided to keep her. Davonne meanwhile, who has promised Tiffany at least a sympathy vote, has no idea any of this is going down and if she gives Tiffany the sympathy vote, Tiffany will stay by a 6-3 vote. James is being left out of the loop on this and thinks Tiffany is still going home. (The five may tell James and Davonne just before the vote, but still want them to vote out Tiffany to split the vote and confuse Frank.)
So, at this moment, TIffany is staying by a 5--4 or 6-3 vote and Bronte is going home. (Well, sequester anyway.) Frank thinks the vote will be 8-1 or 9-0 to evict Tiffany. The alliance of five that was Corey, Nicole, Paulie, Zakiyah and Davonne, has now more or less deleted Davonne and inserted Michelle. There's a fairly unanimous view that the next two people on the block will be Frank and Bridgette on the block together, and either Frank or his puppet/spy will be leaving.
Unless Frank or his team somehow pulls out the HOH win this week (which will be challenging with Paulie and Michelle both working against him and Bridgette sitting it out as the outgoing HOH) then the giggly, ridiculously happy Bridgette we've seen for the past week will be replaced with the worried, frowning Bridgette. She'll have lost her closest friend (Bronte) in the game on her HOH after Bronte was put up by Frank. Bridgette's on the block opposite Frank who will be fighting like mad to stay in the game and will trample Bridgette to do so. Bridgette will be competing for POV on a less than perfect ankle. It's not a good week to be Bridgette.
Assuming nothing changes in the next few hours (which may be assuming a lot) it looks like Tiffany is definitely staying. Bronte is definitely leaving. And Frank and Bridgette are the clear targets for next week. Should one of those two come down, then Natalie would go up. This should be a fun show tonight. I'm not sure BB will have time to incorporate all that went down overnight into the show tonight, they were probably already prepped with the Tuesday clips of Tiffany possibly staying, but now Tiffany is staying, just by a different set of voters, all led by Michelle and Corey. I suspect that Michelle may have decided it's time to really start playing Big Brother and we may see quite a bit from her now. She knows the game forwards and back and is smart. She's getting used to being in the house. We may see a lot more from her this season.
Unfortunately Thursdays are often filled with long periods of no feeds, so we likely won't know for sure until the show airs if things are still on track, but right now, things look good for Tiffany to stay. It should be a fun show tonight. Watch for Frank's and Bridgette's reactions after the vote is announced. Frank will not be happy. He's so sure he's getting rid of Tiffany that this should be fun!
